Reading list

I'm reading, no, devouring a book by Madeleine L'Engle called Walking on Water Reflections on Faith and Art. It is amazing. I am really enjoying this book. Her writing just speaks to me, even when it is above my head in meaning. She talks about the fact that you can be Christian, but if what you produce is garbage then it is more profane than some artist who doesn't believe in God yet produces work that is glorious. The neat thing is, I was just thinking about this subject. How I liked it so much better when Christian publishing wasn't the big market. We lose something when we make it so financial. What does Jesus think of this? I think He is probably a little disappointed in us. I think it's not quite cricket.

ok, I'll try again

Well, my former entry got eaten somewhere, which is par for the course. I am still trying to find all the bugs of this blog. I am so glad the weather has finally broken here, no more 90 degree days in the near future. Fall is my favorite season. I'm going to post this just to see if it will post. I"m not really this boring in real life...I hope!
