June

We knew, going into it, that June was going to be a very busy and complicated month. People going here and there, no getting around it.
We are coming into the home stretch. Little guy goes to camp next week.
My tomatoes are doing well, but I'd probably get more use out of the cherry tomatoes if I didn't eat them right off the vine.
Next year I've got to remember to plant sugar snap peas.

Nothing really exciting to tell. Sometimes life is like that. Currently on a geneology kick, frustrated by great grandparents who changed names, birthdates, etc like I change my clothes.

My grandfather left Norway with one name and arrived in the U.S. with another. Makes me wonder...

I was going through photographs at my mom's house a few weeks ago and realizing there are so many stories left untold, but I will be grateful that they didn't change their names... at least, I don't *think* they did! That must be frustrating.

The more you know about Ellis Island...the more the name changing is less of a mystery. Crazy stuff, that. Trying to guess the spelling variations is what drives me nuts.

I have no idea of my roots beyond the fact that they're in Kansas.

@Rainbow...the funny thing is that he didn't come through Ellis Island, just changed names kind of at random. He was kind of a bad egg we think...
The ones who did emigrate we can keep track of, but can't find them IN Germany, which is frustrating.
