The text this morning at church will be Matthew 5:38-48. If someone strikes you, turn the other cheek...if they say go one mile, go the other as well.

I watched the Towers come down on your mom's TV - we didn't have one at the time. She and I stood outside and commented about the eerie silence in the skies. Where were you in 2001?
We were in Virginia Beach - DH was on deployment halfway around the world.
I remember the silence too - so weird since we heard aircraft - military and civilian- all the time on a 'normal' day.
